WHAT I WILL DO FOR YOU:

• I will help you understand all the options that are available and, to the extent that you need or want me to, I will help you make the choices that are most appropriate and effective for you.
• I will prepare and file all the necessary documents, maintain all the appropriate records and time schedules, and on the successful completion of the adoption, handle the finalization.
• I will help you put together all the documents which are to be provided by you.  These may include fingerprint records, medical records, birth certificates, etc.
• I will help resolve any special issues that may arise, such as notice to absent birth parents, consents, documents necessary to an interstate adoption, requirements necessary to international adoptions, (such as translations of documents, visas, pediatric review of medical records and videos).
• I will help in the selection of a social worker experienced in home studies of prospective adoptive parents. 
• I will help select appropriate counseling, if it’s required or wanted.
• And, if you wish, I will remain on the case after an adoption has been completed to find suitable counseling or other adoption-related assistance.
